downloading itunes tv shows in the uk

How do I download tv shows from the US ITunes store onto my ipod in the uk as I don't have a credit card registered at a US address so can't get a US ITunes account

The short answer is, you can't. To download US content you need a US account; for a US account you need a US credit card.

I got around it by using (with permission!) someone else's US account, though this means you have to authorise your computer with their ID as well as yours, which eats up one of their 5 authorisations.

I'd use the comments/feedback/request content links in iTunes and tell the UK store what you want to download, then hope lots of other people do the same and they make it available in the UK.
