Last night I was given some speakers, 5 lil ones and a subwoofer. This morning i've came to set them up so i can use them with my iPod and i've found that i can only use, at the most, 2outta the 5 along with the subwoofer. I have a cable that has *Rear speakers*, *center speaker* and *front speakers*. Is there anything that i can get to combine the 3 wires into one so it will fit into my iPod head phone socket/dock. Thanx Rich

You can get the audio equivalent of phone socket doublers in most techie stores, and often in "pound" shops. It's a bit unlikely that you would get proper surround sound as most music is still only stereo. (Does the iPod even handle 5.1 sound?)
i doubt the sound will come out of all 5 speakers, and of course it wouldnt actually be 5.1 surround if it did. i you want it to come out of all speakers, plug the dock/ipod into a 5.1 amp/dvd then put the speakers on that.
