either works ok in my opinion - better than 3 girls/3 boys

having shared in both situation for me the 2 girls 1 boy worked better (i am agirl)

Girls are cleaner and tidier (in theory)lol.

I am a girl, and I shared a student house with two boys in my second and third years. A few years later I also shared a house with two male colleagues from work, and that worled out really well. I only left when I met my husband.
