To say from August ill automatically be put onto a new tariff for £13 and 25gb. At present I pay £9.18 which was just increased very recently for 5gb. That's all I need. Any advice please.

If you are not in contract switch to another provider, it's pain free.

If you are in contract ask them how much you will have to pay to switch to another provider, they will probably be prepared to haggle and give you a better price.  £13 for 5GB is far too much

Do you need more than 5 or is it enough? You can get 5Gb for £5 or £6 (Smarty or giffgaff).

5gb is enough

I'm very happy with Smarty. They are currently offering 5GB for £6,no contract, or 12GB for £6

That sounds good Barry 👍

Smarty uses the 3 network so check their coverage where you live.

I recently changed from Vodafone (£19 p/m) 5GB to Smarty (£7 p/m) 40GB, no issues wityh signal coverage.

I'm with Asda Mobile.  A fiver per month gets you 3Gb of data. £8 per month gets you 10Gb. (Both with unlimited UK calls and texts and with no contract):

Thanks. I will change to smarty.

Surely they can't tell you an automatic increase to tariff unless you're tied into a contract with them?

Smarty - way to go!
