Ford fiesta radio code

Hi all, I had to change my car battery and my radio is now asking for a code. It is a Ford radio in a Ford fiesta. Serial code: T M454583. Any help please???? Thanks!

Do you not wonder if someone could have stolen a radio and is just putting messages on the site to get a code. I am not intimating that anyone is asking or answering with anything but honest intentions - but at least a dealer makes some sort of check as to whether it is your radio or not. Is it not a bit irresponsible to just give out codes to anyone who asks?????

Thanks for your help skids - it didn't work though. And because I tried more than 3 times, my radio now it has gone to a wait 30 mins status :-( .

Tubeway, I do understand your concern. This forum though is neccessary as my garage requested �30 to fix it...

Jo. is the code in your hand book some where? If you have a hand book (Usually in the glove box) just check through the pages carefully as sometimes there is a space to write useful numbers and radio codes etc. Failing that you may have to stump up the fee to have your garage sort it out.

most ford main dealers will only charge about a tenner - it costs them nothing but time and a search on their oasis machine ( a ford computer)
