Got kind neighbour coming to walk my dog at noon.

Another kind neighbour informed me he has a replacement for my broken iphone charger.

I have just seen next door's cat which spends all day trying to kill songbirds being chased across my garden back into it's own by a fox. Thank you Mr Fox.

Chuffed friend and I got tickets for The Magic Flute at Glyndebourne ths year again.  Hoping I will be well enough to go.

Even more chuffed that a neighbour here who I have played a few arias for has asked last night could he come with us.  Wow.  That surprised me.

Said neighbour has got himself a ticket for G for same performance as us so he will travel there in my car with friend and I.  Nice to do something for him for a change.

Bit worried about that fox now.  It should be asleep in it's den now.  But I'm not tetchy.

I have played Nelly the Elephant (Toy Dolls), Come Dancing (The Kinks) and Jump in the Line (Harry Belafonte).

We're all feeling cheerier now.  My wife has just put Banana Boat Song on.  Altogether now,

I'm feeling a bit low because I've got nothing naughty but nice to eat, so I've ordered a shop for tomorrow and have put some yummy things on there. Roll on tomorrow.

I'm tickety boo, thanks.  Hope you enjoy your naughty nice treats, Barsel.  What will you be treating yourself to? If I could eat whatever I wanted I would have sticky toffee pudding and custard, Maynard wine gums and a bottle of Rioja.  Then I'd think about lunch 😁

I've felt grumpy and tetchy all day.  It got off to a bad start when I was climbing over the stock fence this morning, got my foot caught, twisted awkwardly and then face planted the field.  So I started the day covered in mud and chicken poo.  Despite the soft (read sopping wet) earth I landed quite heavily on my right hip and twisted my back.  I shall shortly be slipping into a codeine coma.

Well, Barry I've ordered a Cadbury celebration cake to take to my daughters on Sunday when I go for lunch, but for myself, I've ordered pork pie and crisps followed by Tiramisu for tomorrow. I am still thinking about going on a diet though.

One day I may do more than just think about it.
