This was posted on a friend's FB page.

I also received a message on Messenger, seemingly from her, asking if I'd seen the post.

This isn't like her.  It looks as though her FB page has been hacked.

How difficult will it be to get back control of her FB page?

I presume you have told her? Only she can approach FB . Has her password been changed? If not then all she has to do is change her password and let all her friends know what's happened

I saw that same thing on-line the other day...not FB though. Didn't bother checking it out as looked impossible.

As Facebook and WhatsApp are owned by Meta it is likely her WhatsApp account has been hacked too.
