Hi folks, the tabs on my google pages (android tablet) have all turned black and the text on them very faint, barely there. I dont want to do a reinstall in case I lose all my favourites. Anyone have a solution? T I A.

Have you inadvertently turned night or dark mode on?

^^^ My thoughts too.

Settings > Display > Dark Theme

Hi barry1010, can't locate where I have that option. Will keep searching.

Thanks both, I don't seem to have that option in settings (asus zenpad). It allows setting the brightness manually or auto. The pages themselves are fine, just the tabs of open pages at the top, may as well not be there. I find tabs useful but in present state hard to see where they are.

Well there's a thing, I've found it hidden in a subsection called Themes, it was set to Light mode, tried Auto, same, tried Dark.... Ok! So the tabs are back, I can live with the dark setting. How bizarre! Thanks again both, you put me on track. Cheers.
