My wifi is very poor in rear room.(this is symptomatic of both ISPs i have had)I need something to boost wifi (not mobile signal boosters) It seems i need to get a usb wifi booster to plug into router.However, is there a usb-c wifi booster i can connect directly into my phone instead ?

For rooms that are distant from the router, use the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal from the router instead of the 5 GHz. The 2.4 GHz signal is better at long distances. USB Wi-Fi dongles will improve a phone's Wi-Fi performance. However, a USB adapter is needed, as USB-C is not directly supported.
