No need to panic since many of the firms are allowing folk to take the reading but submit it up to a fortnight later.

And Martin Lewis also said take your meter reading before the end of the month but you don't need to submit them for a few days, the energy companies have confirmed that. They'd prefer it to stop the systems crashing.
