I have a large bright spot just appeared on the top left hand side of my screen ,watched a video how to repair it but sod that anyone know roughly how much a TV repair man would charge ?

No, but it would be cheaper if you can take the tv to them. Phone round tomorrow for a few quotes

If it is a dead pixel I don't think it's repairable. A while ago there was an allowed amount of them so customers couldn't complain. Don't know if that's the case nowadays. If not, is it under warranty?

Dagman no not under warranty , i`ve got the number of a repair man a relation as it happens so i`ll talk to him tomorrow, Thank you
