I almost bought an Arlo Pro system, but the negative reviews on Amazon are so persuasive that I paused.

All I want is a couple of WiFi cameras, goodish quality, that I can view on my iPad, at home. No phone, no security, just for the fun, maybe recording on to a TB hard drive.

Any suggestions (i know I asked before, but I’ve changed my approach now).

indoor or weatherproof?
Question Author
Weatherproof preferably.
The idea has been around for a while so the system should be pretty well sorted so it may be down to budget and brand preference, personally I always use Canon.

Can’t see any Canon wifi cameras - any specific recommendations?
blink? you can buy a module that loads video clips to a usb. Really easy to set up, I'd get the silicone skin as well

Blink looks good - that’s the sort of thing I want. (Reviews a bit worrying, but definitely v.close!)

The thing is, I don’t want cheap - I’m quite happy with Arlo’s £300-plus - but it’s those dreadful reviews that put me off!

Is it just too early forthis sort oftechnology?
