My hard drive on my PC has been completely wiped and I have lost my iTunes and everything I have ever downloaded onto it. I still have my ipod with the 6,600 tracks on it. I am about to load iTunes back on my new hard drive. Is there a way to get the 6,600 tracks from my ipod back down onto my iTunes on the PC?

Not without special software, I believe, available online. If you go to ipodlounge (maybe just called ilounge these days), it's covered in great detail in one of the forums.

you'll want a program (free) called yamipod.

very clever, you can even put it on your iPod and have it run straight from there on any computer. lets you copy files iPod->iTunes etc.
