I'd like to say I'm refreshed after a long cooling shower but I'm not. I feel just as hot and sticky as I did before.

I've climbed stiles , gone over stepping stones in a fast flowing stream and waded throws corn fields, I think a nice cool shower is on the cards

I have sat all day in our normally very cool lounge. North facing and thick stone walls that keep the heat out, but it's even warm in here.

Overcast and breezy/chilly all afternoon here. And they said it was going to be sunny, sunny, sunny with temps of 23. It even rained...and I think it's doing it again as I type. *sad face*

My eye is streaming and stingy, I never used to have any aversion to the sun and the pollen is only medium ?

I would have thought it would affect both eyes if it was pollen. You haven't got anything in it?

I’d like to say I’m refreshed by a g&t with lots of ice, but I’m not because I’m on two lots of antibiotics and not drinking for a week :(
Could be worse, at least it’s cooled down now after a brief drop of rain. It was too hot to take our dog out today...too hot for him and us, he’s just lain there and panted all day. He’ll get a lovely cool early morning walk tomorrow which he’ll really enjoy.

No Pixie but 4 years ago I had an operation on the same eye and whether that has any bearing on it I'm not sure, I had lens implants on both , the left eye being my worst one and that's the stinging one

I've been a bit like Pasta, really disappointed, it was supposed to be clear sunny sky and high 20s all day. In fact it's been breezy, spots of rain, totally overcast and not warm at all since about lunchtime.
