How To Block Adverts On Yahoo

Morning all,

I've re-installed Firefox as my main browser. Whenever I go on Yahoo, even though I've got AdBlock as an add-on, I am inundated with ads at the right hand side, and I also got a strip of an advert at the top.

Is there an easy way to block the ads once and for all ?

I assume they are eating up my data allowance.

I uninstalled AdBlock and re-installed it, and the ads have gone.
