This keeps popping up when I'm using Opera browser and stops me from doing what I'm doing. Anyone know what it is and how I can get rid of it, please?

That should read What is it?
Looks like the Bing logo -

It is the Bing logo.

It does LIK, I didn't realise. Why does it just pop up and cover my screen though?
Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with Opera, but do you have Bing selected as your preferred search engine? If Opera's settings allow, perhaps you can remove it as one of the options available?
Question Author
My default search engine is Google.
I think you'll have to wait for someone that knows Opera to help, but they'll almost certainly ask you -

What device are you using - PC, tablet, phone...?
What exactly are you trying to do when the Bing logo appears?
The link below shows how to remove a search engine from Opera -

As I mentioned, removing Bing as an option might do the trick...

Thanks LIK, unfortunately mine isn't opening like the one in the video and although I can get to see the different search engines, when I click on one, it only gives me the opportunity to make it as default and not delete it.

Sorry I forgot to say I'm using a PC, Windows 10. Doesn't matter what I seem to be doing when it happens it just appears whenever.
There are two things I'd try:

First, carry out a malware scan. If you've already got the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) on your computer, use that. However I hesitate to advise installing it for the first time, as it automatically gives you a free trial of the paid-for version, which seems to slow some computers down quite a lot. So, if you've not already got MBAM, download and run this program instead. (There's no installation process; you simply run the downloaded file directly):

Then reset Opera to its default settings:

The second link isn't working for me. It comes up with 'Your file was not found. It may have been moved or deleted.' Is this going to work on windows 10 which is what I have?
Question Author
This is from the second link.

C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\
The file location might differ between different versions of Windows.

This should work with Windows 10 though:

Chris, have done this now so will have to see if that logo still pops up when I use Opera. Which browsers do you recommend?
Browsers are very much a personal choice.

I don't use Windows 10, so Edge isn't available to me but I certainly wouldn't use Internet Explorer.

I don't like Chrome (or the way that Google automatically tries to link everything you do online together).

I've only used Opera a few times (on public computers) but it's never leapt out at me as being either particularly good or particularly bad.

I've got Avant and Vivaldi available to me on this machine but, for day-to-day use, my own choice is Firefox:

I think if that Bing logo still keeps popping up, I might get rid of Opera and try a different browser. Thanks for your help everyone.
i get this imagine if i start my laptop before switching the mains supply to it on ??? has done for months i just press start button again and it loads up ok ...weird, i dont have opera btw
Question Author
derek , I think it might have been a coincidence that it has popped up when I'm on Opera as it popped up this morning when I was using Chrome, so running the Malware scan that Chris suggested hasn't got rid of it. Back to the drawing board. :-)
and yes it is the bing logo but why i /we get this and it stops the comp load up is beyond me
