Windows XP and HP deskjet 843C compatability issues

Hi all,


have recently upgraded to XP. Have been trying to print some photos, and they come out looking very pink. Obviously have changed the colour cartridge but still same results. Checked for updated drivers with HP and downloaded and installed them. Still the same problem. Checked microsoft to see if any compatability issues and have found no answers. Any ideas as to what to next?
