Google Apps Updates.

What is it with these constant Google apps updates?
They seem to be going update mad of late, every time I update something couple of days or so later there's another bleedin update.
Particularly annoying if you have a slow internet connection.
So concluded as the updates really do not seem to be a noticeable improvement anyway, its pointless to continuously update, I just wait a month or so and then update to get the latest.
