I am looking to buy my father in law a Freeview Box for Christmas. As you can probably gather I am not looking to spend the earth. Could you tell me which of the above (ALBA STB2NS or Sagem ITD62) you would buy and why?

Check out the Matsui DTR3 (Currys) �29.99 I bought one two months ago and am well pleased, it is the cheapest around, have no problems at all with it, if the spec is what you require its a good deal.

Most set top boxes are the same anyway . dont worry, just buy one..... at � 25 - �30 ... but .. if you want to have the best, then get one with a card reader .. Freeview + pay for channels
