Can anyone name any good websites that contain all software needed to convert DVD's to DivX films, and a guide on how to do it?

www.vcdhelp.com has loads of guides and links to download software. It's a bit techy at times but hugely comprehensive

If you're going to try it, make sure you have a large hard drive as most rippers decode the DVD to a VERY large file (remember a DVD can be up to 4.7GB) . Some rippers don't do this but I've found them quite slow.
