Cannot Download Anything On My Iphone 6S?

Everytime i click download on something (fonts) it takes me to a new page with a bunch of gibberish and symbols and numbers, and its a super long page too. How can I actually download things and NOT just get a page of text? I am in Hawaii and people here suggested me to visit stores like TCAWireless and other. Should I go? Please help.

It because the iphone doesn't know how to handle the type of file you are trying to download, so it just shows the contents as text.

Other than ebooks, pdfs, photos and videos there is no storage for other typesof file.
