boiler control problem

I have a boulter camray 3 boiler, first thing in the morning we have no heating even though the thermostat is calling for heat. If we move the rocker switch to off for a few seconds then return it to normal position the boiler fires up and works normally. This doesn't happen every morning and has happened once during the day. Any idea what the problem might be?
