Sky plus is great, but what happens if you record something you need to keep ? Can you transfer to dvd or something to permanently keep it? Just that I had someone I know did a show on TV which I want to permanently keep. Thanks for reading.

Hi! Yep you can transfer this to DVD or Video depending what you have. There is an optioin when you select this programme "Save to Device, Play, Delete...."

You can permanantly keep it on your sky+ box. I aint at home at the mo so this is from memory. when you are on your sky + planner screen, there should be a menu at the bottom that tells you what the coloured button do eg, yellow is delete. Blue is keep i think, if it isnt on the screen at the same time as delete press your right arrow button and it should say keep is blue

hope this helps, if not let me know ill have a look tonight

Just play it into a DVD recorder rather than the TV.

Thanks for all your answers guys - most useful! In repsonse to Aliflump, it is various appearances on telly that a friend of mine has had in various programmes I am trying to keep, news related, so not going to be the type of thing released on DVD sadly! He will have to become more famous for that!
