My Samsung Galaxy tablet won't load the AB page. It sticks half way across and then I get a message saying that this web page is unavailable.
It only happens with AB. It was like this when they changed the site so I downloaded an adblocker and it's been fine.
Now it doesn't load again although the adblocker is working.Everything else I use and look at on it is ok apart from AB.
Any suggestions as to how I can rectify this ?

I would be upset too Jno.It's not fair to you really and I'm afraid I'd be having a serious word! I can understand someone not wanting to burden someone else with stuff but when you're a couple all those years why hold back vital info.I would have been very angry if Mr.S had withheld anything from me when he was diagnosed.I would rather know what I'm dealing with then it's easier to cope than be left in limbo wondering.
Lovely weather here. Picky came and mowed and fed the lawn for us and strimmed round .He's a good lad but has hollow legs :)
Where's the Birthday girl ?
I suppose I'll get over it in the usual way, by swallowing my pride, shaney. But since January I've been nursemaid, ambulance driver, telephone answerer, personal shopper, medical appointment arranger, delivery person, and the one who picked OH up off the floor after a series of collapses, and to find I don't even know what's going on just wears me out :-(

Lovely weather on the way to the hospital today, though. I might try to enjoy it tomorrow and make the visit a bit later in the afternoon.

It's very exhausting looking after someone when they're unwell.
I expect you did all those things happily anyway but it was unfair to keep you in the dark about why you were doing them.
I've had my fair share of it over the years.Luckily Mr S is a very stoical person but his was a life changing thing especially when stoma bags burst as they did until he got used to controlling it.If I hadn't been told what was going to happen and been faced with stuff( well *** actually..lol) like that I would have been bloody furious.
Take a little time for yourself .OH is in good hands and you need some R&R.
I'll say goodnight.Sleep tight.
Jno, that sounds like a good idea.
good afternoon, hope everyone is ok
took a nice drive to John Bunyan's home village in Beds today, very pretty, a nice old Moot Hall (manor court house) still standing too, plus an abbey church which used to house some more than usually scandalous nuns. Have since seen OH, who is doing well, went on a 50-yard walk round the wards, aided by a nurse, has been given cranberry juice so they can check how fast it goes through (not fast, so far, insides have a lot to relearn) and may move on to custards tomorrow. Progress!

Hope everyone else is enjoying the good weather, so rare on bank holidays.
Much too hot here to be called good weather....really roasting and humid. I am glad OH is making progress Jno and I hope that you are feeling better too. By the way, pomegranate and rose cordial is delicious and none of that sweetener muck in it

It's been glorious here.Lazed about dans le jardin with a book.
More of this weather please.
Sounds like a nice drive out Jno and hope it bucked you up a bit. Pleased to hear things are going well for your OH.
good morning all! still a bit too warm here but very quiet. I have had to wash my vacuum cleaner filter so can't do any more housework until it is dry.....very sad!
Morning all from glorious, slightly more comfortable Derbyshire. Thank you for your birthday wishes, yes, I had a lovely sunshiney and tiring weekend. It's been a very long time since being hot like that, I remember one birthday being almost as warm in the mid 90s though. Just battling with sinus headaches now, I think it's the pollen.

Oh dear jno, what a trial. I can understand how exhausting it must be, it was difficult enough dealing with our brother's illness, especially those months in hospital. No one really told us what to expect, there's so much more to Parkinson's than you find on websites. For my own illness years ago I was shielded by doctors but I think they tell patients so much more these days which I prefer.
I believe in telling your young children as much as they're able to understand too.
Hope you're getting lots of help and if they offer social workers I hope they've improved considerably over the years.

Make the most of the weather....I haven't packed the woollies away.
Hello all, just popping in before bed.
Jno so what was all that in HK? Did fhey all know too?
Been out for a chinese meal with sister to give Mr N a bit of peace, she does rabbit on a bit,
Hope you are all ok.
I couldn't say, neti. As things stand I have no idea what has been wrong with OH, or what they've done to sort it out. Still, OH is looking a little bit better every day, baby steps.
Hello all, hope you are all well and KBO. Shaney, have you tried the Phryne Fisher books? They are a bit (well quite a lot) risque but a jolly good read.

Evening all
Another lovely day ,a bit fresher though.
Hope you're all ok .Nice to see had a good birthday Robinia and pleased to see your OH is improving Jno.
I haven't read those Woofy I'll give one a whirl. Is that the same Miss Fisher of the TV series 'cos I like those.
yes Shaney...simplified and cleaned up for TV :) The lady who writes them is a self confessed researcher and the books are full of wonderful detail but it never gets in the way of the story.
Question Author
Just reserved the first one in the series from the library .
It may take a while to come through though. They're not as quick as they used to be as they don't have the funds for so many books now and we're a large county with lots of libraries. I'm in queue of 64 for one of my reservations!
I read a bit on Amazon in the "look inside" thingy and it looks good.
I read the books that were tied into The Murdoch Mysteries TV series too, also very good .Thanks for the recommendation Woofy.
I'm reading the latest Donna Leon atm, the Commissario Brunetti stories.
Sleep tight.
Tut tut smutty books eh??
Good morning. Jno hope OH is getting better.
We are all off to Ibiza old town for 4 days ( we'll go for a few hours) mediaeval festival.
Getting my eyebrows microbladed for free on Tuesday.
Question Author
Morning all
Much cooler but dry and sunny.
Haha Neti I had to read that twice .I thought you said you were having your eyebrows microwaved .
Hope you're all ok.
hello all. Spent most of last night telling Shughy that the world was not going to end and it was only stupid weather. Consequently we are all a bit on our knees today. Hope you are all doing well. Neti, an internet mate of mine just had her eyebrows microbladed....she needed 3 sessions but is naturally very dark and had plucked her eyebrows to non existence as a teen. She is please with the result but the interim was quite scarey!
Question Author
Good job it's free Neti. It looks as if you won't get much change from a couple of hundred quid here. I'll stick with my Revlon pencil :)
