does anyone use ukonline? i have tried postcodes from several places around london and other areas on their website (where you can check if ukonline is available in your area) but ukonline is not setup in any of these areas. is it setup anywhere??

When you got the screen which told you that can't use UK Online, you should have looked just underneath this information. Here, you would have seen the words "exchange list". Clicking on the link would have provided you with your answer:
