How does one copy and paste a map to another site/forum, that shows a walking/cycling/public transport option that you can get after entering start end point A to B using google maps.

I have just noticed the three horizontal lines at the top left of the map which opens the map menu.

From there there is a 'share/embed this map'.

On Google's site you can generate code to embed a google map in a website, but you will need access to the site's code.

It might be easier to do a screen gab and upload to tinypic and then use the supplied url to link to your map.

If you use the 'share/embed' option in Google Maps you get a short URL to link to the map, exactly as you would from TinyPic but quicker
