Why Can Typing A Question / Answer In Answerbank Be So Slow?

I find when I type answers or questions into answerbank it can be painfully slow like its buffering or cacheing . Its only text after all and not demanding on a laptop (admittedly not a blisteringly fast one) it gets really frustrating and takes a disproportionate amount of time for a relatively light task. It doesn't matter what browser I do it in its still slow, any ideas.

This web site has some serious issues to be honest. I use Chrome and on laptop at home it consumes lots of CPU and entering answers is slow, as OP said. At work on a different laptop it also has issues. I have a very powerful laptop at work and I have approx 12 chrome tabs on the go and the one that falls over in the background is this one. I'd call it assuming wrongly ,I don't mean that word atoll text .

However on iPad pro 128GB with Safari it behaves.
