Don't know if the make of the phone is of any consequence really, however the Grand Neo is a dual sim phone, we live in Spain where the phone was bought does anyone know if I will have to have the phone unlocked to be able to use a UK sim alongside my Spanish one?
Thanks for any help guys.

Phones are locked if you buy them with subsidies from the network provider, otherwise they are unlocked.
Where did you buy the phone? Did you pay the full retail price, or get it as part of a deal?
If you paid the full price, then it's definitely unlocked.
If it's locked, you can easily check if the second SIM slot is locked simply by borrowing a SIM from a friend on a different network, or by buying a PAYG SIM (I imagine they are available for 5 Euros) from a different network.

Thanks for the reply, I bought the phone in a Yoigo network shop and put my previous Yoigo sim in it, and yes I paid full price.
I can borrow another sim on a different network for sure but it will be on a Spanish network too as I don't know anyone with a UK sim.
If it works on a different Spanish network it will work on a UK network

Thanks for that, I'll get someone elses sim today.
Why not get a spare sim for yourself?
