a link has been added to my right click menu when i'm using internet explorer (XP) - I understand from previous questions that this is a registry problem (?) and that i need to back up the registry and then delete the offending entry... could anyone recommend a web page with an idiots guide to doing this (i know nothing), or give me some advice on how to find the right entry, get to the registry file, or indeed if i'm completely off the mark with this and i can fix it another way.

I have virus scanned, altered the firewall (ask permission for everything) and removed spyware so feel confident that it won't happen again -

thanks very much for any help

Hopefully it's not something too malicious.  The following web page gives info on how to edit the registry to remove right-click menu items in IE:

But yes, certainly back up the registry before changing anything in there!
