Where can i download a great graphic designing software (subscription-free)?

GIMP is every bit as good as Photoshop and entirely free:

Not sure what you require here. Photoshop is a photo editing package that as you're probably aware, is very expensive. It's not a graphic design program.

Look at the stuff on the Serif website. They have free versions of their own photo-editing programs (Photoplus) and graphic design programs (Pageplus)

As TheProf indicates, Serif's freebies are very good. (I use PagePlus myself). However if it's a 'professional level' DTP program which you're seeking (to rival software like the mighty, and mega-expensive, Quark XPress), but without paying a penny for it, then Scribus is the one to go for:
