Hp Chromebook Has Lost Screen Brightness. How Can I Fix It

just today switched on chromebook, contrast brightness is low and dark, looked into my settings and can see absolutely nothing to reset the brightness.

Have you got a key with an icon that looks like two boxes interlinked? If so, press it

Allegedly The LARGE sunburst key on the top row makes it BRIGHTER. The SMALL sunburst makes it dimmer. Settings do not persist across restarts of the machine; they revert to "presets."
