Find Office 2016
I downloaded Office Home and Student 2016 on my computer and am trying to pyt a shortcut on my Desktop but cannot locate it. It is there as if I look under Programmes uninstal/instal it is there. Am SLOWLY getting on top of thongs but there is no doubt as you get older it gets harder with new things.

Office is not a single program, but a collection of programs.
You should find a folder "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016" (or similar) in the All programs menu. Within there you will find the individual programs (Word, Excel, etc) that are included in the bundle.
Right-click on any of the programs and drag to the desktop.
Release the mouse and choose "Create shortcut here"
