I have an assessment to do for Design and Manufacture. The product I must use is Polythene Film: a thermoplastic with the properties of wood. My product comes with standard pieces, one of them being like a plank of wood: it has a certain cross section sizes and can be up to a certain length. I want to know if it can be laminated and bent or steam bent like wood, but my concern is that it would melt the plastic. Since the parts come as planks already, I can alter them already using certain processes like routing or spindle moulding. I just want to try make organic shapes from the geometric shapes I already have
