I don't understand your question. Split a file??

What sort of file is it, and why do you want to split it?

Its a quicktime movie file, its too big for a cd rom. A file splitter is a program like HJsplit on pc, which literally splits a file into smaller sections so you can transport them, and reassemble it again on a different computer.
