Buying a freeview box

Have just bought a new TV but it didnt come with a freeview box. Are there differences if quality of boxes, do some come with more channels than others? I have read the post the other day re: getting more channels via updates but do some come with more channels as standard?

I don't think so. When I looked into it for my mum, what you paid extra for was a quality make, ease of installation, more than one scart socket, auto software update.

looks like you can now get a box that alloows you access to the interactive stuff. All the gen here
