Not Receiving Texts From One Friend

All my outgoing or incoming texts work except from one friend. She gets my texts and calls and I get her calls but none of her texts either ones she sends to me or her replys to my texts. Any suggestion on what we can do to fix this please

Have you checked any settings on the phones to make sure you haven't got text messages set to a format that one of the phones won't accept?

Sorry, should have specified, something like an MMS message format.

I find some texts don't get to people or are part delivered or delayed if they are too long, especially if sent to older phones.
