recorder!!

HOW the heck can a recorder be out of tune?? it doesn't have strings or anything, how can the holes be out of tune? why does my recorder sound lke crap?? i hate the recorder! why is it called a recorder?? definitely the worst instrument i have ever heard of.

Recorders, like most wind instruments can be affected by temperature. Sometimes you need to pull the head joint out a little to get it in tune. Also depends how old it is and whether its clean. Recorders are ok its those ocarinas i hate!
