Hi i am feeling a little better today, i can only see with my left eye at the moment, which is my weakest one, i got home at the weekend feeling pretty rough, so tired, i have 3 packs of drops to put in one at 6 times daily the other 2 4 times also a blood thinning injection once a day, i was online yesterday for a wee while, but struggled to see the screen, the surgeon inserted a gas bubble in my eye after the op to protect it that is all i can see just now.
Gosh you have certainly been through the ringer, this was very sudden, wasn't it or was it something which was brewing?I shall not overtax you just now with your impaired sight,it must be difficult for you and you should be resting your other eye, there have been several Abers asking after you and to pass on their good wishes.

I have had this problem for a while, i had to speak to 4 different surgeons before the last one said she would do it the risk of losing my sight was very high plus the retina could be detached,i saw the surgeon on friday morning and she was happy so need to go back to A.R.I. for a check up on the 17th of november my birthday by the way, there are a lot of very nice people on AB asking after me thanks to you xxx
I am glad the surgeon was happy with the outcome on Friday, although it is a bit of a nuisance having to go back there again for check up,but of course it is better to go back to where it was performed!I hope the prognosis is good.also not easy putting drops in yourself!!Warfarin injections(if that's what they are)can be very painful though necessary. Please break off any time if it is getting too much strain for you.

The eye drops can a hit or a miss, but i will get better at it, as for the injections i have to find a fatty bit on my body to inject into, problem is i am quite skinny, anyway going to rest now i have to put a pillow on the table and put my on my hands for 50 minutes in each hour, it is so the gas bubble is kept in the centre of my eye, time for more drops now, i will hopefully get to chat to you again towards the end of the week, the gas bubble should have gone by then, very nice to chat today Take care xx
Enjoyed our chat as usual Billy take care and be sure to follow all instructions enjoy your rest and hope to catch you laterxxx
