When starting my laptop a message appears on the lower left of the screen for about a second "press F2 to enter set up" Can someone explain what this process is, would it effect any programs documents files. TIA

One of my old desktops gave me that option (but gave me 30 seconds). It gave me options to set up in different ways such as in Safe Mode. If the F2 option was not taken the laptop automatically opened up as normal.
