I've had a few Thai meals that felt like that.
ah - a yucky animal story.

from the title I was expecting a su-su watch thread. mega disappointment.
I love the herpetologist's title for her article.
"Two Fangs Good, a Hundred Legs Better."
She's obviously read Animal Farm.
Yup! Can't beat a good old meat and two veg.,JJ.

Oh, sorry mushers.

I would like to (genuinely) thank you for that.

I've just done 6km on the treadmill and was about to ruin all that exercise with a sausage and egg MacMuffin from MacDonalds.

Absolutely no chance of that now.
Question Author
Hey, good workout, SP.

Way to go!

Question Author
ps. Sausage and egg McMuffin?

Seriously?

They are pretty horrid.
actually, if I am in the right mood (usually starving) I dont mind a sausage and egg MacMuffin from MacDonalds.

It's usually the Vindaloo with extra fresh chilies that feels like its eating its way out!
Question Author
Vindaloo? Yikes!
JJ

I could not disagree with you more.

I allow myself one per week. Last week, I missed the breakfast time cut off at MacDonalds and they refused to serve me one.

It was the worst day ever.

(File that under 'first world problems').

Seriously???

That's going too far.

Unless of course they've added turkey and egg MacMuffins to their menu.
Question Author
Well, each to our own tastes, of course, SP

Personally, I'm not sure if I most dislike the rubbery "egg" thing, or the stuff on the outside of the muffin that gets all over your hands.
