Ad for freeview, cat (singing in a male voice) sings a love song to a budgie.
Budgie returns in song, (using a female voice) only thing is, the budgie is so obviously a male because of his blue beak.

Don't get me wrong Tilly, I love the ad, such a basic error spoils it.
I haven't seen that, but it sounds too obvious to be a mistake? So a bit bizarre.
I had two male budgies called Chirpy and Cheeky. They were the first pets I bought for myself.

turn the colour saturation down and watch it in black and white
I think it's called a 'continuity error' ..the sort of footage that is regularly collected, compiled and puked out onto our TV screens weekly. Those prime-time programmes where they insist on recapping every five minutes.
Aaaw. Thank you sir prize and emmie. Yes, unmistakably male. The owner at least would have known it was make, let alone any animal welfare people that are involved in adverts. And more importantly, that it's perfectly obvious if you can see its face.
