yesterday my cat lost a lot of blood & water from "down below".  She is not in pain or showing any signs of distress and is eating and drinking ok.  Could this be a phantom pregnancy? or a period? anyone experienced anything similiar with their cat?

I didn't experience this with any of our female cats. It might be best to contact your vet paco. Good luck.
Hi paco, You didn't say whether your cat had been spayed, I have had several female cats ( all had been spayed ) and they never had what your cat has just experienced, I agree with smudge, it would be wise to contact your vet.  Good Luck.   :-)
Hi, I too have had several female cats and have never known this happen.   Mine too have all been spayed.  I agree with the others that it would be best to contact your vet.  Best wishes.
