Soundcard And Usb Headset

We have given our son a 7.1 sound card for his pc. The problem is he only uses a USB headset and this particular soundcard has no USB input.

Short of buying him a new headset are there any solutions such as an adapter into which we can plug the usb headset which has audio jacks to go into his soundcard?

I've done some googling and have only found audio in with USB out!
