Samsung Yh-J70 Needs Format. How?

I have a Samsung YH-J70 MP3 player. However when I turn it on a message comes up saying I need to format the HDD, and then it turns off again.

Also, when I connect it to a PC there are no folders or anything on the device, it is completely empty. Do I need to install software onto it for it to work correctly, and if so how do I do this?

It helped to give me a headache fender, lol. Cheers fir that but nothing seems to get resolved.
