Various things you can try. Scan with Malwarebytes to see if something uninvited is slowing things up. Scan with an AV too for the same reason. Check you have a lot of free hard disk space and plenty of RAM memory, maximise what you can. Check what is in your start up sequence in case you are loading loads of irrelevant stuff. That'd be a good start.
