I am using the Media Centre to burn tracks onto CD.

If I drag and drop an MP3, the system accepts it, and burns it - no problem.

If I want to take tracks from an existing CD, it doesn't seem to work.

Do I need to move them onto the hard drive - say into my Music File, and transfer from there?

Is it a commercial cd? If so I would expect to have to download it first - it only takes a minute.

Hi hc - no, it's one I burned myself.
Strange. Download it anyway. You may have inadvertently put copy protection or whatever it's called on it.

Thanks, I'll try that over the weekend, and see if it works.
