What on earth are you on about conne?
translation please ☺☺☺
Whats happening with AVG?
I thought that AVG was an abbreviation for All Very Good.:-) Doesn't seem to be the case with Conne, who will no doubt clarify matters.

avg is my antivirus protection but sometimes when Iam on it is rattling as if it constantly updating and updating - does me lid in.
Then get rid of it and try another one
Get rid of AVG and use the free one from Microsoft, its far better.
I also advocate getting rid of AVG and downloading MSE. However, I would not recommend the link which ummmm has given because the site is listed by WOT ( Web of Trust ) as having a poor reputation.

Download MSE ( Microsoft Security Essentials ) from the official Microsoft site. :-

I don't understand what you mean by rattling - making a noise?
Ah, I have just worked out that "Couldn't be a ed changing title" is a polite way of saying "Couldn't be ar**d..."
I think , boxy, that Conne just means it chugs away or maybe it's downloading an update. It doesn't make a noise but maybe it slows things down. I don't have a problem but you can choose when to run it, so maybe you need to deny updates or not run full scans until a convenient time.
