This is a link to an item currently for sale on EBay. I am not sure what has happened prior to the listing but I think that there are four very unhappy teenage girls down under.

Don't cross mama bear?
indeed , boxtops
Haha, that's brilliant!
Good for her, the world won't come to an end because their daughter can not indulge her friends at a night out to see the hottest boy band. It might however just instil a sense of responsibility and grace sadly lacking in some.
I bet it hurt the mother too.
Wow, that is one unhappy momma.
How nice of the parents to but the tickets for their friends too.

And the added bonus of it, the 6 month long sulk will be a blessing to their ears ;-)

B00, this could be well past a 6 month sulk, I'm thinking they may go for the world record here.
The added bonus becomes an additional perk then!
Yep, no more ear ache for a loooooooong time lol.
Good for her.

My mum could bear a grudge for years and years
Mine too, but I don't. I get over it and get on, even if I am angry and upset I let it all out when I am alone. I would like to know what the young woman in question has done.
£14k bid for the tickets, I bet those kids have set up fake ebay accounts and are having a bit of fun.

Kudos to the mum though
Is it just me or does anyone else think the parents are really childish and not setting a good example themselves?
B1tch, no wonder the kids lie to her if she reacts like that, and in public!

Apparently the girls in question had lied about having sleepovers and had actually stayed over at an older man's house.
Looks to me that it was the straw that broke the camel's back
I get why she's decided to take the tickets back and sell them, that I absolutely understand and agree with, but I don't really 'get' why she had to put what happened all over Ebay. In my opinion, she's just made herself look childish and a bit crazy!

They obviously aren't genuine bids, so what's the point?
