Kindle Fire Hd Backup

I have just had my kindle replaced under warranty and have now got back to the same level of a game Woodebox as I was on before it had to go back. After less than a week the replacement is having to go back! If I back up the kindle to my pc will the backup save where I am at at the game as I don't think I can face another go at 99 levels.
