Mobile Phone Trackers

Hi All

Hope you can help...im looking for a website or an app for android (my phone is the android) in which I can trace a mobile phone/s in the UK by the mobile phone number alone. I am unable to physically get my hands on the "target phone", the one which I'm needing to trace location etc. The phone that I'm needing to trace is actually an old Nokia C1-00 that is a basic GSM phone.

Does anyone have any info, advice or direction to a website and a website that is genuine. If it costs then no too much of a problem.

I thought you could only do this if you have the phone's IMEI number.

I may be mistaken but I thought in order to do this one had to have set it up on the handset in question, don't you ? I can't see it being possible otherwise since only the service provider could know where the phone is and there must surely be privacy issues regarding passing that information on to anyone but the police. I'd have thought. So it would have to be with the phone carriers permission by running the ap.
